Hall of Taxonomy

Swedish botanist Carolus Linnaeus introduced a system of classification of plants based on their sexual organs. In his Systema Naturae (1735), he established the classification of living things into genus and species which was the birth of modern Taxonomy and a workable Classification of Life.
