Hall of Dutch Art

The 17th Century Dutch artists ushered in a most remarkable phenomena in the history of visual arts. These painters had a remarkable genius for realism. Pragmatism became the product of this genius as the art was carefully crafted to convey Holland's Calvinist beliefs in images with crisp messages.
