Lama Je Tsong Khapa
1357-1419

Great reformer of Tibetan Buddhism and the founder of the Yellow Hat Sect. Tsong Khapa is pictured as always seated wearing a pointed yellow cap with long ear flaps. He is usually smiling, with a bulbous nose and his image is often repeated with large and small versions of himself sitting side by side.
