"The
plaintiff’s wish to correct what he regards as a widespread misconception about
those who served the nation under the Articles of Confederation is laudable."

Virtualology
Editors
Virtualology, primarily
through the scanning and editing of 18th, 19th, and 20th Century texts, has
provided over 35,000 biographies and accounts of history's most remarkable
people, events, and places. Since our launch in October 2000 Virtualology
sites have attracted millions of viewers. The growth has been
staggering and to keep-up with viewer demands of accurate and updated content Virtualology
has adopted the Oxford English Dictionary and Open Directory editing model.
Virtualology now relies on the efforts of
volunteer editors who have both a competency and passion for improving
educational web sites. It is through this wisdom and expertise that Virtualology
is able to improve and update its 35,000+ sites.
Virtualology's
primary mission still remains the celebration of humanity's greatest moments,
exceptional minds, and greatest events with the important student publishing
hallmark. Instead of our children competing to "memorialize"
their initials on a mall video game; they are challenged to submit papers at
gaiusjuliuscaesar.com, maps at ferdinandmagellan.com, photos at
thedeclarationofindependence.org, imaginative sketches at tyrannosaurusrex.org
and sculptures at
michaelangelobuonarot.com for world wide web publication. Thanks
to Virtualology's founders and our growing numbers of volunteer editors, great
student works are no longer limited to publication on refrigerator doors.
